These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Push-up Hero. By downloading, signing in to, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Push-up Hero is a fitness app that turns push-ups into a game you actually want to win. Point your phone's camera at yourself and it counts every rep in real time and tracks your progress workout after workout so you can watch yourself get stronger instead of guessing.

Every session earns you XP, builds your streak, and pushes you up the ranks, with quests and daily reminders that keep you coming back and a last set that's built to make you earn it.

Then it gets personal: add your friends, see their totals, best sets, streaks and ranks, and go head-to-head in friendly battles where the prize is bragging rights, which, honestly, is the best kind. The whole thing is designed around one simple idea: show up, drop down, and become the hero of your own push-up story.

• An account is required. You sign in with Apple, Google, or a code sent to your email. Your progress is stored on our servers so it follows you to a new phone.
• Some of what Push-up Hero does requires a Premium subscription. The App shows you exactly what's included before you buy.

We may change what's included in the free and Premium tiers over time. If we materially reduce what an active subscription includes, we'll give you reasonable notice.

You must be at least the minimum legal age in your country to use Push-up Hero. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Push-up Hero involves physical exercise. Please read Your health and safety below before you start.

Read this part properly. It matters more than the rest.

Push-up Hero is a fitness and entertainment app. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. We are not your doctor, your coach, or your physiotherapist, and the App does not know your medical history, your injuries, or your limits.

Before you start

Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before beginning this or any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, have a heart, joint, back, shoulder or wrist condition, or have been inactive for a long time.

While you train

• Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or anything that feels wrong. Seek medical help if it doesn't pass.
• The App will suggest a number of sets and reps, and the last set is designed to be hard. A suggestion is not an instruction. You decide what your body can do today. Doing fewer reps than suggested, resting, or stopping entirely is always allowed and is sometimes the right call.
• Streaks, XP, quests, reminders, and friend competitions are game mechanics designed to be motivating. Do not let them push you into training while injured, ill, or exhausted. No streak is worth an injury.
• Warm up, use good form, train on a suitable surface, and make sure you have clear space around you.

You accept the risk

You use Push-up Hero voluntarily and at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume all risk of injury, illness, or other harm arising from exercise you perform while using the App, and you are solely responsible for deciding whether a given workout is safe for you.

The App counts reps by analysing the camera feed on your device in real time. It is an estimate, not a measurement.

• The count can be wrong. Lighting, camera angle, clothing, framing, the surface you're on, and your form all affect it — it may miss reps or count reps you didn't complete.
• The same is true of streaks, XP, and ranks, which are all derived from that count.
• Workouts are recorded as they are counted and cannot currently be edited or deleted individually. Deleting your account removes them all.

Don't rely on Push-up Hero as an accurate record of your physical performance, and don't use it as the basis for any medical, athletic, or competitive decision.

You need an account to use Push-up Hero. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information, including a valid email address
• Keep access to your account secure, and not share it in a way that compromises it
• Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised
• Use one account for yourself, and not impersonate anyone else

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the App at any time. Your account will be deactivated immediately, you’ll be signed out everywhere and stop being visible to your friends. Your account will be permanently deleted after 30 days. Signing in again within those 30 days cancels the deletion and restores your data. After the 30 days, deletion is final and your workout history cannot be recovered.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. See below.

Purchases go through the app stores

Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the platform you downloaded the App from (Apple App Store or Google Play). They process your payment, and their terms apply alongside these Terms. We never see your payment details.

Prices and options

Prices, subscription lengths, and any introductory or free-trial offer are shown in the App before you confirm, in your local currency. Introductory offers are one per user (or per family group) as determined by the store, and eligibility is decided by Apple or Google, not by us.

Renewals and cancellation

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — not in Push-up Hero, and not by deleting your account or uninstalling the App.
• Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can't issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the App or sign in on a new device, use Restore Purchase in the App to recover an active subscription bought with the same Apple or Google account.

Your display name and profile picture are visible to people you have added as friends, and to anyone who has a pending friend request with you, so they can tell who they're adding. Friends can also see your push-up totals, your best set, your current streak, and your rank.

You agree that your display name and profile picture will not:

• Impersonate another person, brand, or organisation
• Contain hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful content
• Contain anything you don't have the right to use, including someone else's photo

A note on profile pictures: your picture is served from a web address that doesn't require signing in, so friends' phones can display it. That address contains a long random identifier and is never listed or searchable. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

Friends and invites

Adding a friend requires both sides to agree. You are never obliged to accept a request, you can decline one, and you can remove a friend at any time, which also removes their access to your stats. Invite links you create expire after 7 days, and anyone who opens one still has to send you a request you must approve.

We reserve the right to remove a display name or profile picture that breaches these Terms.

Push-up Hero records your workout so you can watch it back. That video stays on your device — we never receive it.

You are responsible for what you film:

• Make sure anyone else who appears in frame has agreed to be recorded, and comply with the recording and privacy laws where you are.
• If you save your clip to your camera roll or share it through another app, what happens to it after that is between you and that service. It leaves our control entirely.

You keep full ownership of your videos. We claim no rights over them.

The only things you put into Push-up Hero that other people see are your display name and your profile picture. The rules for those are in Your profile and what friends see above.

More broadly, you agree not to:

• Use Push-up Hero for anything unlawful, or upload content you have no right to use — including someone else's photo or anything that infringes their privacy or intellectual property
• Upload sexual content involving a minor. This is absolutely prohibited, and we will remove it and report it.
• Harass or intimidate another user, including by repeatedly sending unwanted friend requests
• Attempt to bypass security, access other users' data, or interfere with the App or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App except where the law allows
• Upload malware, or use the App for phishing or spam

Fair play

Push-up Hero's stats and friend competitions only mean anything if the numbers are real. You agree not to:

• Fake, automate, or artificially inflate your push-up count, XP, streak, or rank
• Modify the App, intercept its network traffic, or use a modified client to submit results
• Use multiple accounts to game the friend competitions

We apply automatic limits to keep the numbers meaningful, and may adjust, reset, or remove stats we believe were not earned honestly.

Enforcement and reporting

If we become aware of content or activity that breaks these Terms, we may, consistent with applicable law:

• Remove the offending content, including a display name or profile picture
• Suspend or terminate your access and/or account
• Report the matter to the relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful requests

XP, ranks, achievements, streaks, and competition standings are features of the App, not property.

• They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, gifted, transferred, or exchanged for anything, and are not a virtual currency.
• Friend competitions are for fun. There is no prize, and winning entitles you to nothing beyond bragging rights.
• We may rebalance the progression system — how XP is earned, what ranks require, how streaks work — as the App evolves. We may also correct or reset values that were awarded in error or dishonestly.
• If you delete your account, all of it goes with it.

We work hard to keep Push-up Hero reliable, but:

• The App may be unavailable sometimes (maintenance, outages, device or network issues).
• Push-up counting depends on your device's camera and processing power, and may not work equally well on every phone.
• We may update, change, or discontinue features (including Premium features) from time to time.

If we materially change the service, we'll try to provide reasonable notice inside the App.

Push-up Hero relies on third-party services for things like authentication, hosting, subscription management, notification delivery, and analytics. Those services have their own terms and policies. The Privacy Policy lists who they are.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. By using Push-up Hero, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

If there's a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data, the Privacy Policy controls for that topic.

Push-up Hero, including its software, design, artwork, trademarks, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the App unless we give you written permission (except where the law allows).

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms.

In plain terms: we build Push-up Hero as well as we can, but we can't promise it will be perfect, and you shouldn't treat it as if it were.

Push-up Hero is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not promise that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that rep counts or any other measurement will be accurate, or that using the App will produce any particular fitness result.

Security note: no app can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your device and keeping your OS up to date.

In plain terms: if something goes wrong, what you can claim from us is capped at roughly what you paid us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for Premium in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using Push-up Hero anytime

You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your device. If you have a Premium subscription, you must cancel it through your App Store or Google Play settings to stop future billing — deleting the App or your account does not cancel it.

We can suspend or terminate access

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the App, its users, or our systems. Where it's reasonable and lawful to do so, we'll tell you why.

What happens to your data

If your account is deleted, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to limited legal and security retention where applicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use Push-up Hero after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, unless consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may also have the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence and to benefit from mandatory consumer protections.
